LABOR AND LOVE DOULA PACKAGE

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

2 Prenatal Sessions

During our meetings we will discuss:

• The Process of labor

• Comfort measures and techniques

• Your preferences and goals for your birth

• Birth outcomes

• Establish roles for all supporting people who will be present at the birth

• Resources (lactation support, childbirth education, birth resources, books, classes, handouts)

• Unlimited text/email support from on call time forward

• 24/7 on call/text support beginning the 37th week of pregnancy

Birth Support

• Continual physical and emotional support throughout your labor and birth until a few hours after the baby is born

• Advocacy and support in communicating with your provider that honor and respect your desired birth plan if possible.

• Beautiful pictures!

2 Postpartum Meetings

• Two postpartum visits — the first postpartum visit is within 2 weeks from the time you arrive from the hospital/birth center and the second visit is a week or two after the first visit.

• Visit includes: listening and debriefing your Birth story, troubleshooting lactation, newborn care teaching methods, providing resources such as: Breast/chest-feeding, postpartum and new parent support group, helpful new born tips, etc.

BIRTH CONSULTING SESSION

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

Ask me anything about birth!

• Assist you in clarifying your birth goals.

• Help you develop or identify new ways of commitment or accountability towards achieving those birth goals.

• Discuss and help you develop a positive sense and concept of birth.

• Facilitate alignment between your belief system, what you say you want and the actions you take in order to achieve it including helpful information on advocacy.

• Or simply ask me anything you’d like about the birth process, your birth options, postpartum planning and more!
